House builder Hill Partnerships came in second place after securing two projects to build around 240 flats in London for Enfield Council and housing association Clarion Group respectively.
McLaren Construction ranked third closely chased by rival Glencar.

But across the wider market, the top 50 contractors saw new orders in May fall to the lowest level for over 12 months, with total contract awards dropping to £2.86bn from the prior month’s low of £3bn.
In the rolling 12-month rankings of work won, Strabag held top spot, buoyed by its £3bn long-term Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme contract, with Mace ranking second and Balfour Beatty placed third, according to data compiled by Barbour ABI.
